It is inevitable. One morning, you’ll be getting ready for work and, not being totally awake yet, you’ll start absent-mindedly styling your REMY hair extensions. We all know what happens next – accidentally burned hair extensions. There’s no need to be embarrassed – it happens to everyone, whether they’re styling their own hair or hair extensions. Hair is just like your skin in that it can burn easily. Unfortunately, you’ll never be able to feel hair burning. You can only smell that awful smell.
Luckily, there are some measures you can take to minimize the chances of accidentally burning your hair extensions. One of the most common reasons hair extensions burn is from being too dry. The best way to combat this is by making sure your hair extensions remain moisturized. Using a leave-in conditioner will help keep them moisturized.
The other vital step in the fight against burning your hair extensions is maintaining protection. There are plenty of products on the market designed to protect hair extensions from burning. In addition to using products for protection, use good judgment when operating a hair styling tool. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully and remain alert while styling your hair extensions. Sure, that may be hard to do first thing in the morning, but it will definitely help in the long run!
