  1. Lean Red Meat - If you body isn't getting enough iron it can result in hair loss and possibly baldness. This problem is especially common in women. Make sure to eat plenty of lean red meat, which is packed with iron.

  2. Broccoli - You parents always told you to eat your vegetables, and some of us are wishing we listened. Dark green veggies like broccoli and spinach are jam packed with vitamins A and C, which aid in the bodies production of sebum, a scalp oil that serves as a natural conditioner for hair.

  3. Eggs - Whip up some omelets or just eat them scrambled, no matter how they're cooked eggs are full of biotin that helps your hair grow and increases the health of your scalp.

  4. Bananas -  This tasty fruit is full of silica, which improves the thickness of your hair. No wonder monkeys are constantly munching on bananas!

  5. Oysters - You may not enjoy these slippery shellfish, but oysters provide your body with zinc. When the body is low on zinc it's more prone to hair loss.

Just to recap, in order to keep your hair shining and healthy your body needs plenty of iron, vitamin A, vitamin C, biotin, silica, and zinc. Do you know of any hair healthy foods?
