Having them before you purchase your hairpiece will make your life a bit easier. You'll be prepared and comfortable with all the products you need to fully enjoy your hairpiece experience from day one!
Attachment Tape
The first thing you're going to want to do when your hair system arrives is, of course, to put it on. But, before you can, you need to glue it to your head one way or another. If you think that it will work out with any house-hold adhesive lying around, we are sorry to tell you it won't.
At Advent Hair, we have a variety of adhesives to choose from!
They are a convenient and affordable way for you to secure your wig or hairpiece without having to mess around with sticky, tricky adhesives. We guarantee that you'll get a secure hold that's both comfortable and reliable.
In our store, you can choose from a wide range of wig tape to find the adhesion strength you need, but to make your decision simpler, here are a few suggestions based on what our clients prefer and what our expert opinion has shown.
- Red Liner Sensi-Tak Roll: Red Liner Rolls are a trendy choice for most hair wearers. It can be used for daily wear, as well as for the underlying tape for Perimeter Bond attachment. They come in presentations of 3 yards, 12 yards, and 36 yards.
- Walker Ultra Hold Bonding Rolls: Another great choice to glue your hair system is Walker Tape Ultra Hold! It's super tacky, flexible, and long lasting. Depending on the temperature, humidity, and body oils, this tape can last up to 6 weeks. You can purchase 3 yards or 12 yards of tape.
Solvents & Removers
Also, you'll also need solvents and removers, so put it down on your checklist!
Leaving your hair system on forever is simply not an option. If you are not a daily hair system wearer, you'll still need to remove it from your head now and then. Whenever you want your scalp to have a breath or wish to clean your hairpiece, solvents are there to help you out. They loosen up the adhesive without making a mess, allowing you to experience an easy removal.
- Walker Rapid Release Adhesive: This amazing remover works perfectly for breaking down adhesive glues, both on your scalp and the base. Just spray directly on the area to be cleaned, and breakdown will begin in seconds. After clean-up, shampoo, and rinsing the unit, you're ready to re-bond. Use very sparingly on the skin and clean off immediately.
- Brisk Scalp Freshener: This is a delightfully refreshing antiseptic blend of analgesics and astringents. It's formulated with Australian tea tree oil, which is a natural germicide. This brisk freshener cleans and refreshes the skin and reduces scalp irritation caused by excessive build-up of adhesives, oils and sweat. You can also use it between bonds to achieve a clean surface. Treat yourself right with Brisk!
