You may be completely new to wearing a wig, or you may simply be new to doing your own bonding. It may seem complicated, but think of all the money you will save by avoiding the need to go to a studio for bonding. It’s important to use high quality adhesives and to follow basic principles in order to assure successful bonding. Using the right [lace wig glue](https://www.adventhair.com/boad.html), you’ll be able to experience having a strong bond that you can feel confident about throughout the entire day. Your lace wig is carefully crafted, and one of the most important factors in working on your own bonding is understanding that lace wig glue isn’t applied to the lace. Simply put, your mounting points for the wig should be cleaned. Your [lace wig glue](https://www.adventhair.com/boad.html) should be applied to those places, and you may want to add a second glue layer. In perimeter bonding, you will only be using your adhesive around the outer area; while in full head bonding, adhesives are applied to greater areas of your head or protective cap. You should apply your adhesive to your skin and allow it to dry until it has a tacky feel. A second coat may be applied in similar manner. It’s important to select high quality [lace wig glue](https://www.adventhair.com/boad.html) so that you are assured of a good hold. Most people wear their hair system over several days’ time. Each action of application, styling and washing can wear on your system. Modern wigs are not permanent. Rather, they last for a period of time and then need to be replaced. If your system is firmly in place, it shouldn’t move or pull away. Consequently, the removal requires that the adhesive products be dissolved in order for the wig to be released.
