Unless you've been living under a rock, you've probably heard of organizations that collect hair that is used to make wigs for people with diseases that cause hair loss, such as cancer. While each organization is contributing to the same cause and need, they each have different requirements and guidelines. Below, we've listed two popular hair donation organizations, as well as some information about each.
Pantene Beautiful Lengths

Through this program, Pantene helps women grown long, strong, healthy, beautiful hair that can be turned into real hair wigs, and then donated to the American Cancer Society.
Donation Requirements: Hair must be a minimum 8" in length; donated hair cannot be dyed, bleached, or have been treated with any chemicals; donated hair must not contain more than 5% gray hair.
