Last week we talked about five hair healthy foods that can keep your hair looking and feeling healthy. Calcium keeps hair strong. 2. **Bacon **- Surprisingly**, **bacon contains vitamin B, zinc, and protein and is healthy for your hair. Without protein hair becomes brittle and sometimes loses color. We bet that's the first and last time you'll ever hear bacon referred to as healthy! 3. **Carrots **- While this veggie is known to promote better vision, it's also used to keep your hair healthy. Carrots have vitamin A, which maintains the hairs natural oils, providing you with healthy, shiny, well-conditional hair.  4. **Nuts **- Walnuts, cashews, and pecans provide your hair with some much needed zinc. Walnuts are also a great source of selenium, which is important for healthy, dandruff-free scalp. 5. **Brown Rice** - Packed with complex carbohydrates, brown rice will give your body the energy it needs to build strong hair.
