Paul McCartney and Wigs? An Advent Hair Twist

We may have a little post-GRAMMY fever here at Advent Hair. We were excited when The Beatles stereo box set won the award for Best Historical Compilation. We know that half of The Beatles are gone now… and we also know that Paul McCartney dyes his hair. (If you ask us, a salt & pepper hair system might work a little better for him at this point.)

Anyway… We really love Paul’s post-Beatles band Wings. But what if the band was called Paul McCartney and WIGS instead? What would their hit songs have been?

Let’s have a little fun with this, shall we?

• “My Love” – A tribute to fantastic wig tape, bonds, and adhesive. Sample lyric: “And when I go away / I know my wig will stay with my love / This bond is good!”
• “Live and Let Die” – A song about the switch to Advent Hair. “When you were young / no one gave you a second look. / They used to say / “What’s with that wig?”
• “Maybe I’m Amazed” – An ode to the quality of Advent Hair’s products. “Maybe I’m amazed that my wig showed up on time / Maybe I’m amazed by this great new wig glue.”
• “With a Little Luck” – A song about life before a good quality hair system. “With a little luck / I can wear it out / I can walk in the wind without a doubt. / With a little luck / my hair will stay on / Oh no, it’s rocketing skyward!”
